How do I create an account?

To create an account on Workus, click Register in the top navigation. Enter your email address, choose a password, and select whether you are joining as a Candidate or an Employer. We will send a confirmation email so you can activate your account and start using the platform.

  • Candidate accounts are for people searching for jobs, publishing CVs, and applying for vacancies.
  • Employer accounts are for businesses, recruiters, and hiring teams that want to advertise roles and search CVs.

How do I search for jobs?

You can search directly from the home page by entering a job title, keyword, employer name, or city. If you want to explore more broadly, you can also browse cities and categories to see where hiring is active across New Zealand.

How do I apply for a job?

After you find a role that looks right, open the listing to review the details. The application route depends on how the employer has set up the advert:

  • Jobs with an email application let you click Apply, write a short message, and attach a CV. You can use a CV already saved on the platform or upload a PDF, DOC, or DOCX file.
  • Jobs with an external application link send you to the employer's website so you can complete their own application process there.

How do I publish my CV?

Registered candidates can publish one or more CVs from the My Resumes section of their account. Click Publish new resume, complete the form, and save your profile. CVs are visible to registered employers inside the platform and are not intended to appear as public search result pages.

How do I publish a job?

Registered employers can publish jobs at any time from the My Jobs area. Click Publish job, add the role details, location, pay information, and application method, then submit the listing. Once published, the job ad becomes available to candidates browsing the site.

How much does it cost to use Workus?

For candidates, the platform is free to use:

  • Create an account and manage your profile
  • Search jobs and submit applications
  • Publish and edit CVs

For employers, the current tools are free and include:

  • Post job ads
  • Search the CV database
  • Access candidate contact details

Is my personal data safe?

We handle personal data in line with our Privacy Policy. CV visibility is limited within the platform, and we do not structure candidate CV pages as public index pages intended for search engines.
