We're looking for an experienced clinician and leader to join us as our Service Lead - Sensitive Claims Service, providing clinical and operational leadership across our national ACC Sensitive Claims service. This role can be based anywhere in New Zealand.

This is an exciting opportunity to shape and grow a service that makes a meaningful difference in the lives of people recovering from trauma, while supporting a diverse network of employed clinicians and subcontracted providers across New Zealand.

About The Role

As Service Lead, you'll provide leadership, oversight, and clinical expertise to ensure the delivery of high-quality, client-centred services. You'll work closely with clinicians, leaders, ACC, and key stakeholders to drive service excellence, support quality outcomes, and identify opportunities for growth and innovation. While this is primarily a leadership role, you'll also maintain a small clinical caseload to stay connected to service delivery and support best-practice clinical care.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Providing clinical and operational leadership for the Sensitive Claims service nationally
  • Supporting and mentoring employed clinicians and subcontracted providers
  • Monitoring service performance, quality outcomes, and contractual requirements
  • Building strong relationships with ACC and other key stakeholders
  • Supporting workforce development, clinical supervision, and professional growth
  • Identifying opportunities to improve service delivery and client outcomes
  • Maintaining a small clinical caseload within the Sensitive Claims service

About You

We're looking for someone who brings:

  • At least 5 years post graduate experience
  • Significant experience working within ACC Sensitive Claims services
  • Current registration and Annual Practising Certificate in a relevant health profession
  • Strong clinical leadership and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience supporting clinicians and driving service quality
  • A collaborative and solutions-focused approach
  • The ability to work autonomously while leading a nationally dispersed workforce

Highly Desirable:

  • Current ACC Sensitive Claims Named Provider status
  • Previous experience leading clinical teams or services
  • Strong understanding of ACC contracts and operational requirements
