WAREHOUSE STAFF/ Delivery Driver

We are seeking talented and diligent individual with excellent communication skills for a full-time position of Warehouse Staff/Delivery Driver at our Mount Maunganui Warehouse.

Bay Providors is one of the major Ship Chandler/Suppliers of stores to Ships calling New Zealand Ports, located at Mount Maunganui, Industrial Area.

We are seeking talented and diligent individual with excellent communication skills for a full-time position of Warehouse Staff/Delivery Driver at our Mount Maunganui Warehouse.

Warehouse Staff/Delivery Driver

Hours of work

Monday – Friday Roster – with Flexibility to Work Weekends.

40 Hours of Work/Week with Competitive salary of NZ$25~$27/Hour on experience & performance.

Able to do Heavy Lifting

Able to pass drug test

Have Knowledge of Safety Equipment’s and Personal Protective Equipment’s.

Able to identify Ship Stores, Deck/Engine and Provisions.

Preparing Ship stores and labelling them as per Departments of Ship.

Should be able to identify different cuts of Meat, Vegetables, fruits & international Foods.

Able to communicate with Ship’s Captain, Cook and other officers and get invoices and permits signed.

Knowledge of Ship Stores Loading/Unloading Operations is bonus.

Have knowledge of inventory management, stock-take and stock shuffling.

Need to work in Freezer & Chillers to prepare orders for ships.

NZ Class-2 driver’s license is must or Overseas Equivalent.

Have knowledge of palletizing and packaging goods.

Forklift experience will be a bonus but not mandatory

Knowledge of Ship Equipment’s will be a bonus but not mandatory.

6 Months to 1 year experience in similar role or industry is must.
