  • Based full time in Hamilton office.

Mō te tūranga | About the role

  • Provide the all-important first contact for all users via phone, virtual communication or face-to-face at the Service Desk.
  • Troubleshoot and resolving desktop & mobile incidents or requests, both hardware & software, as well as providing support for other technologies, such as remote working, meeting rooms, and audio visual.
  • Provide hands on device management and user account management.
  • Escalate any issues or events to the relevant support team.

  • Have familiarity with Microsoft 365 and supporting users in a corporate environment.

Mō ngā pūkenga | Qualifications and experience

  • Tertiary level qualification in Information Technology or relevant experience.
  • At least 12 months experience in a frontline Service Desk role.
  • Experience in a local government environment is desirable, but not essential.
  • Excellent customer service skills.

  • You’ll be part of a collaborative and high performing IS Support Services team, working alongside a group of IT Specialists who support the IT Systems across the Regional Council. The IS Support Services team play a key role in delivering end user support, system access, account creation and device management.
