Performance Advisor

We are looking for a highly analytical and commercially minded Performance Advisor to join our team, supporting the Executive General Manager (EGM), Business and her leadership team. This is a high-impact role where you will play a key part in shaping strategic insights, executive reporting, and business performance outcomes.

About The Role

As a Performance Advisor, you will work closely with strategy, finance, analytics, and senior leadership to deliver high-quality insights and executive-level communications. You will be responsible for developing board and committee materials, performance reporting, and ensuring strategic initiatives are tracked and delivering value.

This is a fast-paced, collaborative role suited to someone who thrives on turning complex data into clear, actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with strategy and business leadership teams to support the delivery and tracking of strategic initiatives and benefits realisation
• Prepare Board papers and divisional performance packs, delivering clear, accurate and insightful commentary
• Develop high-quality materials for Group and SNZ committees, including executive and CEO updates
• Lead deep-dive analysis, translating complex data into actionable insights and executive-ready presentations
• Support the EGM with strategy days, presentations, communications, and ad hoc requests
• Collaborate with finance and analytics teams to enhance reporting, insights, and overall performance tracking

About You

You’re a proactive, detail-oriented professional who can confidently engage with senior stakeholders and influence decision-making through data-driven insights.

You Will Bring

• Experience in performance reporting, analysis, or strategic advisory roles
• Strong ability to interpret and synthesise complex financial and business data (5+ years preferred)
• Proven stakeholder management and relationship-building skills
• Advanced problem-solving capability with a structured, data-led approach
• Strong analytical business skills and financial acumen / business judgement
• Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to create compelling executive narratives
• High attention to detail and ability to translate insights into clear actions
