We're looking for a confident and service-driven
Unit Manager to join our team at a high-end corporate site in Wellington CBD. You'll be leading a team that delivers exceptional guest services, concierge support, and event coordination. This is a hands-on leadership role where your hospitality expertise and people-first approach will shine to deliver

Ko ō kawenga | Your Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and inspire the Guest Experience team to deliver consistently exceptional service across all customer touchpoints.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships, acting as the primary on-site point of contact and trusted partner.
- Set the standard for transformational customer service by creating memorable “surprise and delight” moments for guests.
- Plan, coordinate, and deliver a diverse and engaging calendar of events, collaborating closely with internal teams and stakeholders.
- Manage team rostering, onboarding, training, and ongoing performance development across multiple service streams.
- Oversee front desk operations, food and beverage services, and end-to-end event logistics.
- Provide strategic oversight of kitchen operations, working in partnership with the Head Chef to ensure quality, consistency, and alignment with service and commercial objectives.
- Ensure the site consistently meets cleanliness, health and safety requirements, and compliance standards, including all food safety protocols.
He kōrero mōu | About You
- Proven experience in a similar hospitality leadership role, ideally in a 4- or 5-star environment.
- Extensive experience managing and delivering events of varying scale and complexity
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a warm, professional presence.
- Demonstrated experience managing a P&L with annual revenue of $1 million or more
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft applications and familiarity with AIMs systems.
- Holds or willing to obtain a General Manager's Certificate (Liquor Service).
- A positive, can-do attitude that thrives under pressure
- Excellent stakeholder and client relationship management skills
