Mo tenei turanga - about the role
The Executive Assistant (EA) is responsible for providing professional executive administrative services and support to the Region Manager to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the Region Manager's activities and engagements, enabling the Region Manager to perform at an optimum level across all areas of their position. You will need to -
- Have excellent time management skills and ability to manage competing and changing priorities.
- Be professional, tactful and discreet, with a proven ability to apply a high level of judgement, diplomacy and discretion when assisting others, managing expectations and dealing with sensitive, confidential and personal information.
- Have a mature understanding and knowledge of the various levels and types of professional relationships that can exist in a political and business environment and ability to rapidly gain credibility and influence key stakeholders.
Some travel including overnight will be required out in the region for RLT as part of the role
This is a fixed-term role starting ASAP through to 24 th December
Ko tau na i tenei turanga - What you'll bring to the role:
A proactive mindset, attention to detail, and the ability to anticipate the needs of the Region Manager will be essential. Additionally, the EA should be capable of managing confidential information, scheduling, and coordinating meetings, preparing reports, and handling correspondence.
To be successful in this role, we'd expect you will:
- Proactively manage the compilation and collation of any Service Deliver LT and Operational Response LT papers and governance/committee papers when needed.
- Manage any secretariat function for key regional committees, including setting the programme for the year, preparing agendas, arranging minute taking, implementing actions and monitoring completion of tasks and activities.
- Manage the Region Manager's travel arrangements, including liaison with the organisation's travel provider, the preparation of travel itineraries and other relevant travel documentation.
- Develop effective key relationships to ensure that the Region Manager's work programme is undertaken smoothly and effectively.
The salary range for this role is $83,155 - $92,394 (pro rata), dependent on skills and experience relevant to the role.
