Project Engineers | Civil Engineering Structures

Seeking Civil Engineers, from around the world, with experience in Structures to work for our client, a leading New Zealand Civil Engineering Company. Roles are based in Auckland and Tauranga.

What you’ll be doing

You’ll be responsible for the skilled engineering activities and will lead the day-to-day delivery of project works on site.

• Coordinate crews, subcontractors and suppliers to keep work moving safely and efficiently.

• Scheduling of project works and procurement of contractor services.

• Prepare project documentation, correspondence, cost estimates and progress records.

• Provide technical expertise, resolve on-site issues and support quality project outcomes.

• Monitor safety, environmental and quality performance across your work area.

• Build strong working relationships with clients, consultants and internal teams.

What we’re looking for

• Degree in Civil Engineering (accredited by the Washington Accord or Sydney Accord)

• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Civil Engineer with proven Civil Construction experience in structures.

• Experience in the application of Project Management principles.

• Strong knowledge of site operations, project planning, programming and cost control.

• The ability to lead teams, manage stakeholders and solve problems in real time.

• Working knowledge of current & relevant legislation

• Clear communication skills and a practical, team-first approach.

• Excellent command of the English language (written and spoken ability).
