We're on the hunt for a passionate, dedicated, Occupational Therapist - Pain Management and Vocational Rehabilitation, to join our team in Wellington!
About The Role
Reporting to your Team Leader, you’ll be part of a vibrant team culture that supports and empowers each other every day.
Vocational Rehabilitation
- Confident delivering workplace assessments, graduated return-to-work plans and task analysis
- Knowledge of vocational services pathways
Community Rehabilitation Services
- Provide rehabilitation and support to individuals within their community
- Work within a multi-disciplinary team to help clients achieve their rehab goals
- Knowledge of community services pathways
- Return to work services
Pain Management Services (PMS)
- Experience working in inter-disciplinary teams to support people living with persistent pain
- Skilled in behaviour change, pacing strategies, and education in self-management
- Understanding of biopsychosocial approaches
- A drive to make a difference and deliver outstanding care
- High-level clinical reasoning and adaptability across a spectrum of client needs
- A commitment to continuous learning and professional development
- Proven ability to deliver client-centred rehabilitation in community
- Clear, professional written and verbal communication with clients, whanau and stakeholders
- At least 2 years’ experience working within vocational rehabilitation and/ or 3 years in an IDT pain setting
