Welder

We are seeking for several experienced Welders to join our team.

You will be paid an hourly rate of $30.00-$40.00 depending on your experience and skill level. You will be working in Auckland. This role will be a permanent, full time position and will be guaranteed 30 hours of work per week from Monday to Saturday but can be up to 50 hours weekly. Paid weekly, 4 weeks annual leave, Statutory holidays, Sick and bereavement leave. Opportunities to upskill.

Candidates need to be able to start immediately and work lawfully in New Zealand

Responsibilities and Accountabilities

• Reading and understanding blueprints prior to starting a project
• Sourcing the materials to be used in the project
• Measuring and cutting materials to specifications
• Welding materials using the correct materials to join the metals together
• Checking finished work to make sure that it falls within the tolerances marked on the blueprints

The successful candidate must have

• Minimum 2 years work experience or skills qualification level 4 certificate in related field
• Motivated, good work attitude and good communication skills
• Regular and reliable attendance
• Physically fit and able to handle the heavy workload
• Quality workmanship and eye for detail
• Commitment to health and workplace safety
• Able to pass health, drug and criminal checks if required
