As our Building Services BIM Lead, you’ll connect teams across both countries around clearer BIM planning, stronger capability and more consistent ways of working. Working with BIM Managers, regional leads, project leaders and global workshare partners, you’ll turn shared priorities into practical improvements across projects and offices.

You’ll help build a more connected and capable Building Services BIM community across Australia and New Zealand. This will include better visibility of BIM demand, capacity and capability; more consistent planning, standards, workflows and quality practices; and stronger regional leadership with clearer ownership. You’ll also support earlier, better-informed decisions about resourcing, delivery risk and global workshare, while embedding agreed improvements into everyday delivery.

You’ll lead and develop a team while providing the guidance and practical support that help our wider BIM community succeed. Your impact will come through sound judgement, stronger regional leadership and more consistent BIM delivery across Building Services.

Auckland, New Zealand is the preferred location for this role, however we welcome applications from candidates based elsewhere in Australia and New Zealand. Some travel between offices will be required.

Make an impact by:

• Helping shape and implement a consistent approach to BIM planning, quality, capability and delivery across Australia and New Zealand.
• Leading and developing your team through clear direction, coaching and support.
• Building visibility of BIM demand, capacity and capability to support resourcing and workshare decisions.
• Helping teams establish and embed agreed BIM standards, workflows and quality practices across projects.
• Coaching BIM Managers and regional leads, while advising project and business leaders on quality, programme, risk, resourcing and commercial considerations.
• Maintaining an active connection to project delivery, with approximately 20 to 40% chargeable involvement through BIM leadership, assurance and advice.

Ko wai koe | About you

You may already be operating as an established BIM leader, or you may be ready to extend your influence beyond your current project, team or region.

You’ll bring strong BIM delivery experience and a track record of improving delivery across projects, teams or locations. You’ll be comfortable developing others, influencing leaders and balancing technical quality with practical delivery needs.

What you’ll bring:

• Strong BIM delivery experience within Building Services or another multidisciplinary engineering environment.
• Strong working knowledge of Revit and Autodesk Construction Cloud, with practical experience applying ISO 19650-aligned workflows.
• Experience implementing improvements across multiple projects, teams, offices or disciplines.
• Experience leading, coaching and developing others.
• Sound judgement across technical quality, programme, resourcing, risk and commercial considerations.
• A relevant technical or tertiary qualification, professional certification or recognition, or equivalent practical experience.

Experience leading Building Services BIM delivery would be an advantage, along with experience in an engineering consultancy, across multiple locations or with regional and global workshare teams.
