Production Scheduler
The HEINEKEN Company
Location: Auckland - Waitemata
Contract: Full-time, Permanent
About The Role
We're looking for a highly organised and solutions-focused Production Scheduler to create and maintain detailed brewing and filtration schedules across our Waitemata and Timaru breweries.
Reporting to the Supply Network Planning Manager, you'll translate production and demand plans into feasible short- to medium-term schedules across a 0-12 week horizon, helping maintain service levels and optimise batch capacity.
You'll work closely with Planning, Brewing, Packaging, Materials, Commerce and Finance to manage constraints, respond to change and continuously improve scheduling performance across the supply chain.
What You'll Do
- Create feasible brewing and filtration schedules for each brewery, aligned with shift patterns, agreed capacity and production requirements.
- Manage scheduling interdependencies across brewing, packaging and materials planning.
- Prepare for and contribute to weekly Sales & Execution meetings and the monthly Supply Review, escalating risks and mitigation actions.
- Respond to short-term changes caused by equipment breakdowns, labour or resource constraints, and demand peaks.
- Maintain planning parameters, including brew information, stock levels, lot sizes, production groups and calendars.
- Identify and embed improvements to scheduling processes, while supporting TPM initiatives such as RCFA, Kaizen and Improvement Teams.
- Provide clear reporting on brewing and filtration performance, with a focus on batch capacity and S&OP outcomes.
- Communicate schedule changes clearly across Planning, Packaging, Brewing, Commerce and Finance.
- Provide backup cover for other schedulers when required to support business continuity.
What You'll Bring
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in supply chain planning, production scheduling or supply chain project management.
- Knowledge of supply planning and scheduling, ideally using SAP ERP/APO and FuturMaster.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and the ability to present facts and figures with confidence.
- A practical understanding of supply chain processes, including brewing operations and packaging line functionality.
- The ability to work autonomously, take initiative and own outcomes.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across functions.
- High learning agility and adaptability in a fast-moving production environment.
- A collaborative approach and the ability to contribute positively within CSLP and the wider Supply Chain team.
