Production Manager (MT & LF)

A Bit About Your Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join Westland Milk Products as our Production Manager, leading a critical function within one of New Zealand's leading dairy manufacturers.

Based at our Hokitika site and reporting directly to the Site Operations Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the future performance of our manufacturing operation. You'll lead a large production team, driving excellence across safety, quality, delivery, cost and people performance, while influencing the strategic direction of the site.

Working closely with teams across Quality, Maintenance, Automation, Health & Safety, HR and Operations Leadership, you'll have the opportunity to make a real impact by championing continuous improvement initiatives, strengthening capability across the business and fostering a high-performing culture. This is a role where your leadership, operational expertise and passion for developing people will directly contribute to the success of both our site and wider organisation.

You're an experienced manufacturing leader who thrives on creating results through people. With a background in food, dairy or other complex manufacturing environments, you've successfully led teams, improved operational performance and delivered outcomes in fast-paced settings.

You bring a strong combination of strategic thinking and hands-on leadership, with a genuine passion for coaching and developing others. You're known for building trust, leading change effectively and creating a culture where people feel empowered to perform at their best.
