Mactodd Lawyers is looking for a Commercial/Property Lawyer with 3+ years' PQE to join our Queenstown team. You'll take ownership of your work, build your own client relationships and develop a long-term future with the firm.

About the role

You'll work directly with business owners, developers and investors across commercial and private client work, including residential conveyancing, commercial contracts, estate planning, leasing and related property matters. You'll run your own files, matched to your experience, with experienced directors available to talk things through. We are growing our commercial team, and the role offers a clear pathway towards associate and, in time, directorship.

What you will bring

• At least three years' PQE in commercial, property, private client or business law
• Sound judgement and a practical, approachable way of working with clients
• Enjoyment of taking responsibility, working with others and continuing to develop your skills
• A current New Zealand practising certificate, or the ability to obtain one
