You’ll work closely with the wider Technology team, business stakeholders and external technology partners, providing technical oversight of managed services and identifying ways to improve performance, security and resilience.
About You
We’re looking for someone who brings a practical mindset, takes pride in getting things right and enjoys working with others to get the job done. We want someone who can see what needs improving, get stuck in and help build a better technology environment for Enviro NZ.
You’ll have at least five years’ relevant infrastructure, systems or cloud engineering experience, including:
- Strong hands-on experience across Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365 and enterprise infrastructure, including hybrid cloud and on-premises environments.
- Solid knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID, Active Directory, endpoint management and infrastructure security.
- Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills, with experience resolving complex technical issues.
- Experience working with managed service providers and technology vendors, including reviewing technical solutions and ensuring services meet requirements.
- Understanding of infrastructure security, patching, vulnerability remediation, backup and recovery.
- Ability to balance operational needs with infrastructure projects, improvements and lifecycle planning.
- Experience with PowerShell scripting and automation.
- Good communication skills and a willingness to share knowledge and lift the capability of others.
- Relevant Microsoft certifications strongly preferred.
What’s On Offer
We offer an attractive salary, reviewed annually, along with a range of benefits that support both your work and wellbeing, including:
- Modern head office with free onsite parking and easy access to public transport
- Complimentary gym membership and access to onsite tennis courts
- Employee wellbeing initiatives, including EAP support
- A genuinely inclusive workplace where people can bring their whole self to work
If you’re a hands-on infrastructure engineer who enjoys solving tricky problems and wants to have a real influence on the technology environment, we’d love to hear from you. Please apply with your CV and a short cover letter telling us why this role is a good fit for you.
