Good with people, confident coordinating projects, and curious about AI?

We’re looking for an intermediate architectural designer who brings strong relationship skills, commercial awareness, and reliable follow-through.

You’ll be a key link between our clients, architectural team, and external consultants—keeping people informed, decisions clear, and projects moving.

What you’ll do

• Build trusted client relationships and manage expectations throughout the design process.

• Coordinate engineers, planners, and other consultants, keeping information and deadlines on track.

• Turn meetings into clear actions and follow them through.

• Identify changes in scope and help clients understand the implications for timing and fees.

• Use AI to improve communication, project coordination, and everyday workflows, applying sound judgement to the results.

What you’ll bring

• An architectural design background and practical project experience.

• Confidence reading drawings and discussing design requirements.

• Clear communication, strong organisation, and the ability to follow up tactfully.

• Initiative, commercial judgement, and a commitment to looking after clients.

• A willingness to experiment with AI and demonstrate how it can improve your work.

You may already be the person clients turn to and colleagues rely on to keep things moving. We’d like to hear from you.

Applicants must currently be based in New Zealand. We are not considering applications from people based overseas.
