We have an exciting opportunity for someone to join our Technical Claims team as a Fraud Detection & Intelligence Lead.
About The Role
As the Fraud Detection Intelligence Leader, you'll drive an intelligence-led approach to fraud risk management, identifying emerging threats, uncovering organised fraud activity, and delivering insights that help protect the organisation and our customers.
Working across a broad range of data sources, you'll transform complex information into actionable intelligence, leading the development of innovative detection strategies, analytical methodologies, and intelligence solutions that strengthen fraud prevention and investigation outcomes. You'll partner closely with internal stakeholders, external providers, and industry networks to enhance fraud controls, influence decision-making, and continuously improve organisational capability.
You'll also lead and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement while ensuring intelligence practices, systems, and governance remain robust, effective, and compliant.
What You Will Be Doing
- Leading the way in identifying emerging fraud threats, uncovering trends and patterns, and turning intelligence into actions that help protect our customers and business
- Shaping and enhancing our fraud intelligence capability by developing innovative detection approaches, analytical tools, and intelligence-led solutions
- Bringing complex data and information to life through clear insights and recommendations that support business decisions and fraud risk management
- Building strong partnerships across the business, with industry peers and technology providers, to strengthen intelligence sharing and improve fraud outcomes
- Driving continuous improvement across intelligence systems, processes, and practices to ensure timely, accurate, and trusted intelligence
- Championing an intelligence-led culture through initiatives, education, and knowledge sharing that build fraud awareness and organisational capability
- Playing a key role in delivering our Fraud & Intelligence strategy, helping us stay ahead of an ever-evolving fraud landscape
- Leading, coaching, and developing a high-performing team, creating an environment where people are empowered to grow, innovate, and do their best work
- Ensuring our intelligence activities are delivered with strong governance, compliance, and a commitment to health, safety, and wellbeing
A Bit About You
- Proven expertise in fraud intelligence, investigations, and insurance claims management, supported by strong analytical and process improvement skills
- Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication, facilitation, presentation, and project management capabilities
- Proficient in intelligence management, investigation processes, and Fraud analytics systems
