We are looking for enthusiastic

Casual Catering Assistants to join our team at Wairarapa Hospital in Masterton. This is a casual position, working on an as-needed basis to help cover leave, busy periods, and operational requirements.

Ko o Kawenga / Your Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve meals and beverages to a high standard
• Maintain excellent food safety, hygiene, and cleaning practices
• Assist with patient meal services and food preparation tasks
• Deliver friendly and professional customer service
• Support kitchen and café operations as required
• Work collaboratively with the wider team to ensure smooth daily operations

He Kōrero Mōu / About You

• Previous hospitality, catering, café, or customer service experience is preferred
• Understanding of food safety and hygiene practices
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Reliable, flexible, and willing to work across different shifts when needed
• A positive attitude and genuine desire to help others
• Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
