We're partnering with a large New Zealand organisation undertaking a significant enterprise data transformation programme.

Over the next several years, a substantial analytics and reporting environment will be redeveloped and migrated into Microsoft Fabric, creating opportunities for experienced Data Engineers, Data and Insights Analysts, and Data Scientists who want to help shape the future state rather than simply maintain existing platforms.

This programme will involve rebuilding complex analytics assets, modernising data platforms, establishing new engineering and reporting standards, and delivering advanced AI and analytics capabilities within a highly collaborative data function. The programme offers exposure across engineering, analytics, reporting, AI and data science while working alongside experienced practitioners delivering a large-scale transformation.

I'm currently recruiting for,

1) Senior Data Engineers

• Strong data warehousing and dimensional modelling capability
• Advanced SQL and data pipeline development experience
• Azure Data Factory, Synapse, Fabric or comparable cloud data platforms
• Experience modernising legacy reporting and analytics environments
• Passion for building scalable, governed enterprise data products

2) Data & Insights Analysts

• Enterprise Power BI development, reporting and insights experience
• Building and supporting large-scale reporting solutions
• Semantic modelling, governance and self-service analytics
• Experience working across both technical delivery and business-facing insights

3) Data Scientists

• AI, machine learning and advanced analytics experience
• NLP and generative AI exposure are highly desirable
• Model development, deployment and lifecycle management
• Experience applying data science to solve real business and operational challenges

These are long-term fixed-term contract opportunities.
