Team Leader

Te Tūranga / About the Role

As a Team Leader, you'll be responsible for leading a production team and ensuring daily operational requirements are delivered safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. You'll play a critical role in helping team members understand production expectations, quality requirements, and how their contribution supports overall site performance.

This is a hands-on leadership position where you'll provide coaching, direction, and support to your team while fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement. You'll work closely with operational leaders, support functions, and specialist teams to ensure production targets, compliance standards, and customer expectations are consistently achieved.

We're looking for a motivated leader with strong communication skills and a passion for developing people, along with:

• Previous leadership or supervisory experience in a manufacturing, processing, or operational environment.
• The ability to coach, motivate, and develop team members to achieve their full potential.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• A commitment to health and safety, quality, and compliance excellence.
• The ability to communicate clearly and build positive working relationships across teams.
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to continuous improvement.
• A relevant qualification or equivalent operational experience would be advantageous.
• Experience managing production targets, yields, quality standards, and team performance.
• Confidence using production systems and technology in an operational environment.
