Transactional Finance Manager

Are you a transformational finance leader ready to drive operational excellence and innovation? RealNZ is seeking a Transactional Finance Manager for a three month fixed-term contract to lead our Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable teams, champion process improvement, and deliver scalable, sustainable financial outcomes.

As a key member of our finance leadership team, you'll be responsible for optimising transactional finance operations across the Group. You'll lead a high-performing team, foster a culture of continuous improvement, and ensure our financial processes are accurate, timely, and compliant.

This is a hands-on role where you'll be empowered to:

• Transform AP/AR processes for efficiency, automation, and scalability.
• Lead system enablement, acting as the Finance business owner for Coupa (Procure-to-Pay).
• Drive operational excellence through robust reporting, controls, and governance.
• Coach and develop a talented team, building capability and engagement.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to align finance with business strategy.

We Are Looking For Someone With

• Proven experience leading high-performing finance or shared services teams.
• A track record of driving and embedding continuous improvement initiatives.
• Strong systems knowledge with a passion for automation and optimisation.
• Solid understanding of IFRS, AP/AR, cashflow forecasting, and financial controls.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• A collaborative, solutions-focused mindset.
