TVNZ/Te Reo Tātaki Future Voices Internship Programme 2026/27

Are you ready to turn your passion for media into an internship experience? TVNZ/Te Reo Tātaki Future Voices is a 10-week paid summer internship 26/27 designed to give emerging talent meaningful, hands-on experience across one of Aotearoa's leading media companies.

You'll work alongside some of the industry's best, contributing to real projects, building your professional network, and gaining insight into how TVNZ creates content, drives digital innovation, and connects with audiences across Aotearoa.

The opportunity - Te tūranga

We're looking for amazing talent across a range of disciplines keen to get stuck in and understand how TVNZ works, with eight roles available across a variety of teams

· Corporate Communications

· Digital Sales

· Social Media

· Finance

· Digital & Technology (X2)

· Content Media Operations

· Sports Content

You'll be working alongside our teams here in Auckland while taking part in a shared learning pathway built to develop career-readiness, professional confidence, and hands on experience to take into your final year of your study.

What we're looking for - Tā mātou e kimi nei

We're seeking curious, ambitious and motivated students who are eager to learn, contribute and bring fresh perspectives to TVNZ. Whether your interests are in content, finance, digital & technology, social media or corporate communications, we'd love to hear from you.

We are looking for the following

· One year of university study remaining in a relevant field e.g. Computer Science, Marketing, Communications, Finance

· Experience and examples of adopting AI technology

· Positive, proactive, and "can do" attitude.

· Strong written and verbal communication skills.

· Well-organised with high attention to detail.

· Interest in media, news, content, advertising and TVNZ.

· Eager to learn and contribute as part of a team

· Highly collaborative, resilient and adaptable, with the ability to change course and deliver within short timeframes.

· Strong process orientation and a continuous-improvement mindset.

· Exceptional organisation skills and process orientation.

· Have the legal right to live and work in New Zealand
