The Role

An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Architect to join this successful Christchurch studio.

Working within a collaborative project team, you will play a key role in the design development and delivery of complex projects across a variety of sectors. You'll work closely with senior leaders, project stakeholders, consultants, and clients to ensure projects are delivered to a high standard while maintaining design integrity and technical excellence.

This position suits a motivated professional who enjoys balancing creative design thinking with technical delivery and project coordination responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities Include

  • Contributing to project design from concept through to completion
  • Leading and coordinating project documentation and delivery
  • Managing relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, and authorities
  • Supporting project planning, programming, and team coordination
  • Providing technical expertise and guidance throughout project lifecycles
  • Collaborating with internal teams to achieve outstanding project outcomes

Role Requirements

To be successful in this position you will hold:

  • Registered Architect status or equivalent professional experience
  • Strong design capability with a passion for high-quality architecture
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Proven experience delivering medium to large-scale projects
  • Experience working across commercial, education, health, public, or institutional projects
  • Sound knowledge of New Zealand construction methodologies and building regulations
  • Strong consultant coordination and project management skills
  • Advanced proficiency in Revit
  • A collaborative approach and the ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams
