Nau mai, haere mai ki Tainui Group Holdings.

Are you an organised, detail-focused administrator who enjoys bringing structure to busy teams, building strong relationships and making sure the important details do not get missed?

We're searching for a capable and proactive Property and Rural Administrator to join our team and support the effective management of our growing portfolio. If you love great systems, enjoy being a team player, and find satisfaction in keeping things running smoothly, this could be your next step.

At Tainui Group Holdings (TGH), we are guided by our role as kaitiaki of Waikato-Tainui commercial interests. Everything we do is focused on a vision for a prosperous, healthy, vibrant, innovative and culturally strong iwi, whilst developing sustainable economic growth to support achievement of iwi aspirations. With a diverse portfolio and a commitment to delivering long-term intergenerational value, our work is meaningful, impactful and deeply connected to our iwi.

The role

Role

Every day will look a little different - but your focus will be to support the effective management of our Property portfolio while also providing additional administrative support across our Natural Resources activities. You will help keep documents, workflows, purchase orders, leases and stakeholder requests moving accurately and efficiently. In this role, you will:

  • Manage document workflows, storage, templates and leasing/admin paperwork
  • Support lease administration - tracking expiries, updating records and preparing documents
  • Coordinate purchase orders, payments, invoicing and tenant on-charges
  • Maintain strong relationships with tenants, suppliers, and internal teams
  • Assist with valuations, renewals, rent reviews and property-related projects
  • Pitch in across the Property and Rural teams to help keep everything moving

What you'll bring

Skills

You'll thrive in this role if you enjoy bringing order to complexity and supporting others with exceptional organisational and communication skills. We're looking for someone with:

  • 3-5 years' experience in a property or administrative role
  • Strong computer literacy, particularly in spreadsheets, databases and financial systems
  • Excellent attention to detail, time-management and multi-tasking skills
  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills
  • Confidence working independently and in a team environment
  • Experience working in an iwi setting would be advantageous

Our Tikanga (Values)

At TGH, we embody the values of Manaakitanga (Care), Mahitahi (Teamwork), Kaitiakitanga (Guardianship) and Pono me te Tika (Integrity). We foster a culture of empowerment, accountability and leadership development, guided by Waikato Tainui tikanga (culture).

What We'll Offer

Joining TGH means being a part of a dedicated iwi organisation with strong core values and who believes in the development and growth of its kaimahi. This role provides an excellent opportunity to enhance your skills and demonstrate your administrative skills within a culturally rich and commercial environment. Led by our values, we also believe in flexibility and building strong connections in a high trust environment.

If you're excited about joining a purpose-driven organisation and supporting the growth of assets that benefit future generations, we'd love to hear from you. Please submit your CV and cover letter outlining your suitability for the role at www.tgh.co.nz/en/careers.
