About the role

The Operations Associate will be part of a team responsible for assessing and making decisions on applications for KiwiSaver early withdrawals.

The role will require the ability to liaise with our Managed Investment Scheme KiwiSaver clients on a professional basis while fulfilling the Company’s statutory obligations.

Key Responsibilities

• Process KiwiSaver early withdrawal applications in accordance with legislation and best practice guidelines.
• Receive incoming Kiwisaver early withdrawal applications and posting active cases to CRM.
• Ensure professional client communications are carried out.
• Ad-hoc project management and general assistance to the wider team as required, especially any business unit statutory reporting obligations of TCS.
• Engage with industry and other sources of intelligence to identify emerging risks, themes and best practice.

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

• A minimum of two-three years’ experience in financial services.
• An understanding of, and experience in, the KiwiSaver early withdrawal process would be advantageous, but not essential.
• An keen eye for detail and an understanding of customer expectations.
• Solid personal computer skills, especially MS Office.
• Client service focused and strong people skills.
• Ability to communicate and influence all levels of an organisation up to senior management
• Sound judgement and application of policies.
