This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Accounts Receivable professional who is ready to take the next step in their career. Leading a team of six, you'll help drive performance, continuous improvement and exceptional customer service across the Accounts Receivable function. The Role

Responsibilities

Based within a large and complex organisation, you'll play a key role in ensuring effective billing, collections, credit control and revenue assurance activities while supporting ongoing process improvements. Reporting to the Financial Transactions Lead, responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Leading and mentoring the Accounts Receivable & Credit Control team of six.
  • Managing the end-to-end function including billing, collections and credit control
  • Monitoring ageing reports and proactively managing overdue accounts
  • Partnering with internal and external stakeholders to resolve billing issues and improve collection outcomes
  • Supporting and developing team capability through coaching, mentoring and performance leadership
  • Contributing to finance planning activities and broader organisational objectives

About you

Role

This role would suit someone with experience managing a small team, or senior accounts receivable professional who is now ready to move into team lead position. To be successful in this role you will bring:

  • Strong accounts receivable and debt management experience
  • Top tier FMIS experience would be an advantage
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build positive relationships
  • Experience coaching, mentoring or leading team members
  • A collaborative and empathetic leadership style that brings out the best in others
  • Experience working within a large, complex organisation would be highly regarded.
