We're looking for an Intermediate or Senior Auditor to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside experienced audit professionals while developing your skills across a diverse client portfolio, with a particular focus on New Zealand schools and the education sector.

About Audit at BDO

The Role

As an Intermediate/Senior Auditor, you will work closely with Partners, Managers and fellow team members to deliver high-quality audit and assurance services to our clients.

A significant component of this role involves working with schools and education sector organisations, making previous school audit experience highly desirable.

The role is full-time (37.5 hours per week).

About You

You'll bring:

  • A Bachelor of Commerce, Accounting or equivalent qualification.
  • At least two years' experience within a public practice audit environment.
  • Experience working within a New Zealand CA firm.
  • School audit experience, or a strong interest in developing expertise in the education sector.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and organisational ability.
  • A proactive approach and commitment to professional development.
  • The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
