Regional Manager

We're looking for an experienced Regional Manager to lead our regional broker business across the Business Combined portfolio. This is a key leadership role responsible for driving sustainable growth, strengthening strategic broker relationships, and leading a high-performing team to deliver exceptional customer and broker outcomes.

Working closely with broker partners and internal stakeholders, you'll help shape and execute our distribution strategy while identifying opportunities to grow market share and enhance our reputation in the intermediary market.

What You'll Be Doing

• Lead, coach and develop a high-performing team of Business Development Managers.
• Drive the regional distribution strategy and execute plans that support sustainable growth and market share objectives.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key broker groups and senior industry stakeholders.
• Collaborate across underwriting, claims and other business units to deliver a seamless broker experience and maximise opportunities.
• Provide strategic market insights, performance reporting and recommendations to support business decision-making.
• Represent Vero at broker forums, industry events and strategic partnership activities.

What You'll Bring

• Significant experience within the General Insurance industry, including strong knowledge of the broker and intermediated insurance market.
• Proven success building and managing strategic commercial relationships with senior stakeholders.
• Demonstrated leadership experience with a track record of developing engaged, high-performing teams.
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to develop and execute strategic business plans.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and influencing skills.
• A data-driven mindset with the ability to identify trends, solve problems and drive positive outcomes.
