We have an exciting opportunity for an Applications Specialist to join our ICS team based at Allevia Hospital Epsom to provide support, maintenance and continuous enhancements to our PAS/EMR (TrakCare) systems.
About The Job
This is a permanent full-time role where you will collaborate with and be well supported by our IT team, our clinical application specialists and clinical subject matter experts from across the business. While experience with TrakCare would be a considerable advantage, you’ll bring your PAS/EMR expertise, adaptable thinking and strong risk mitigation skills to a highly skilled collaborative environment where providing a better health journey for patients is at the heart of what we do.
Key Accountabilities
- Provide technical support and functional advice to end users
- Perform system administration tasks including, adding new users, modifying access permissions, modifying workflows, etc.
- Provide database administration & maintenance support
- Monitor data integrity, system performance and optimisation working with end users and vendors on configurations and enhancements.
About You
As our ideal candidate for this role you will have:
- Tertiary qualifications in IT Health Informatics or equivalent
- 3-5 years experience working with large business/enterprise level applications, with TrakCare being a distinct advantage
- Significant experience supporting ERP applications ideally in the healthcare industry
- Solid understanding of clinical functions & a working knowledge of clinical applications & informatics
- Strong reporting, data analysis and interpretation skills, e.g. experience with JReports
- Effective interpersonal skills with the ability to engage well with colleagues, senior management, and customers.
