Sheetmetal Workshop Foreman

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Sheetmetal Workshop Foreman to lead workshop operations for an established business based in Tauranga.

In this leadership role, you will oversee day-to-day workshop activities, ensure job production runs smoothly and safely, manage team workflows, and maintain high standards of quality output.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and supervise the workshop fabrication team.
• Manage daily production schedules and job allocation to ensure deadlines are met.
• Maintain strict quality control and workshop health & safety standards.
• Assist with job costing, quoting, and pricing where required.
• Liaise with suppliers, clients, and internal management to coordinate project requirements.

Skills & Experience Required

• Proven background and hands-on experience in sheetmetal fabrication.
• Proven experience in a Workshop Manager, Foreman, or Supervisory role is essential.
• Experience in job pricing and estimating is highly beneficial.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Valid driver's licence.
