We are looking for a reliable and hardworking
Cleaning Assistant to join our team at CHT Lansdowne. In this role, you'll help create a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents, visitors, and staff while maintaining high hygiene standards throughout the facility.
This is a casual position with shifts offered as needed to support business requirements. There are no guaranteed hours, making this a great opportunity for someone seeking flexibility and available to start as soon as possible.
Ko o kawenga / Your responsibilities
- Clean resident rooms, bathrooms, communal areas, and facility surfaces to a high standard
- Vacuum, mop, dust, sanitise, and remove waste throughout the site
- Maintain hard and soft floor surfaces and respond promptly to cleaning requirements
- Replenish cleaning supplies and ensure equipment is clean and well maintained
- Follow health, safety, hygiene, and infection control procedures at all times
- Provide friendly and professional service to residents, visitors, and team members
He kōrero mōu / About you
- Previous cleaning, housekeeping, or similar experience is preferred
- Comfortable using cleaning equipment and following cleaning procedures
- Good communication skills and a customer-focused attitude
- Reliable, proactive, and able to work independently or as part of a team
- Physically fit and capable of performing manual cleaning duties
- Available to work flexible shifts, including weekends if required
