The Opportunity
We are seeking a Senior Civil Engineer with experience in land development, three waters and infrastructure projects to join a well-regarded consultancy in Wellington.
You will be part of a collaborative team delivering high-quality civil engineering solutions across a diverse national project portfolio. You will lead a small design team across projects taking a project lead role and will report into the Engineering Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver three waters and civil infrastructure design for residential, commercial, and public sector projects.
- Undertake site inspections and provide technical oversight during design and construction.
- Prepare and review civil design and modelling documentation, specifications, and reports in line with industry standards.
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met.
About You
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent).
- Minimum 6 years’ relevant experience in three waters or land development and infrastructure projects.
- Strong understanding of three waters, especially stormwater and wastewater design for local councils.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage time effectively and deliver to deadlines.
- Interest in taking a project lead position and leading a small design team across projects.
