About Grin

Grin Natural is a New Zealand oral-care brand creating thoughtful, sustainable alternatives that care for people and the planet. Our range combines naturally derived ingredients with innovative product design, while avoiding SLS, artificial colours and flavours, and harsh abrasives.

Grin has pioneered toothbrushes and floss picks made using sustainable and recycled materials, earning strong positions across international markets. Since launching, we have expanded into multiple markets, with products available through more than 7,000 retailers.

We are also committed to making oral care more accessible through our Share a Grin programme, which has donated millions of toothbrushes and educational resources to children and communities around the world.

As our international presence continues to grow, we’re looking for a creative and confident Content Marketing Intern to help bring our brand, products and campaigns to life.

Role description

The Content Marketing Intern is a full-time, paid summer internship based on-site at our Rosedale office in Auckland.

Working closely with GRIN’s marketing team, you’ll help plan, produce and appear in engaging content across our social channels and international markets. This is a hands-on opportunity for someone who loves social media, understands emerging trends and feels comfortable both behind and in front of the camera.

Your responsibilities will include

  • Monitoring social media trends and identifying relevant opportunities for Grin
  • Planning and producing short-form content for platforms such as TikTok and Instagram
  • Confidently appearing in content as one of the faces of the brand
  • Helping develop content calendars and campaign concepts
  • Creating clear briefs for internal and external content creators
  • Filming and editing social-first videos
  • Supporting content across GRIN’s international markets
  • Assisting with product launches, creator activity and wider marketing campaigns
  • Conducting basic audience, competitor and trend research
  • Collaborating with different teams to gather accurate product and brand information
  • Organising content, references and campaign assets
  • Reviewing content performance and identifying opportunities for improvement

You’ll be encouraged to contribute your own creative ideas, experiment with different formats and help us produce content that feels entertaining, relevant and distinctly Grin.

Qualifications

This role could suit a current student, recent graduate or anyone with a genuine passion for content creation and being in front of the camera.

We’re looking for someone who

  • Is creative, confident and comfortable appearing on camera
  • Has a strong understanding of social media, trends and digital culture
  • Can recognise what makes content engaging and shareable
  • Communicates clearly and can adapt their style for different audiences
  • Can turn creative ideas into practical content plans and briefs
  • Is organised, proactive, detail-oriented and willing to learn
  • Can work collaboratively in an on-site team environment
  • Has an interest in beauty, wellness, sustainability or consumer brands
  • Is legally entitled to work in New Zealand

Experience using Canva or CapCut would be helpful but is not required. Familiarity with social media insights or basic content-performance metrics would also be an advantage.

Formal experience is not essential. We’re most interested in your creativity, confidence, understanding of social content and willingness to get involved.

What you'll gain

You’ll receive genuine, hands-on experience across content strategy, planning, production, creator marketing and brand campaigns.

You’ll have the opportunity to

  • Contribute ideas to real campaigns and product launches
  • Create and appear in content published across international markets
  • Develop practical filming, editing and content-planning skills
  • Learn how content is produced within a growing consumer brand
