The Role

An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Architectural Graduate to join a talented Christchurch based team.

This role is ideally suited to someone who has gained commercial / civic project experience and is looking to take the next step in their career within a highly regarded design practice. You will work alongside experienced architects and project leaders on a range of commercial, education, public and mixed-use developments from design through to delivery.

You will be involved in project coordination, design development, Revit documentation and consultant management while continuing to develop your technical and professional capabilities in a supportive environment. This is an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to complex projects and establish a long-term career pathway within a leading practice.

Role Requirements

  • Tertiary Qualification in Architecture (MArch) or equivalent
  • Experience working on commercial / civic projects within NZ
  • Strong design and problem-solving capability
  • Advanced proficiency in Revit
  • Excellent verbal, written and graphical communication skills
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary project teams
  • Confidence liaising with consultants, contractors and stakeholders
  • Understanding of commercial construction methodologies and consultant coordination
  • A desire to continue developing professionally within a design-led environment
  • Positive attitude and strong team-focused approach
