The Kraft Heinz Company is currently seeking a HR Process Lead to work at our processing facility in Lowville, NY. Successful candidates must be willing to supply improvements suggestions and ideas to help continue the success of our facility. Ideal individuals must be safety and quality orientated along with demonstrate adaptability and willingness to work in a team orientated, fast paced work environment. This position requires individuals to perform general production duties in a food manufacturing environment following strict quality and safety standards.

$30.37-35.91/hr
A $1.00 shift differential for second or and $1.25 shift differential for third shift.
Work Schedule
Schedule is based on 7 days per week production.

The Lowville plant produces the legendary Philadelphia Cream Cheese! Built in 1971, the facility is over 400,000 square feet and houses 13 production lines. Milk and cream is supplied by local farms. With over 400 employees, the plant is one of the largest employers in Lewis County.

Job Overview
The HR Process Lead owns and improves key plant HR processes that strengthen leader execution, workforce stability, compliance, and employee experience. This role is responsible for driving process effectiveness across core people systems, identifying trends and gaps, and partnering with plant leaders to improve follow-through on HR priorities. The position goes beyond transactional support by leading structured HR process management, accountability routines, and continuous improvement efforts tied to business and people outcomes.
Responsibilities & Duties
Own designated plant HR processes from planning through execution, follow-up, and improvement
Monitor process performance across areas such as onboarding, attendance management, training completion, retention, and leader compliance
Identify trends, risks, and recurring breakdowns, and recommend corrective actions to plant leadership
Drive accountability with leaders for timely completion of required people-process activities and follow-up actions
Build, maintain, and interpret process dashboards, trackers, and reporting tools to support decision-making
Standardize and improve HR workflows to increase consistency, efficiency, and policy adherence
Partner with supervisors and plant leaders to strengthen execution of attendance, onboarding, engagement, and compliance-related practices
Support employee relations processes through documentation coordination, follow-up tracking, and process discipline
Lead administration of select HR programs where needed, with emphasis on process quality, consistency, and measurable outcomes
Ensure HR processes align with state and federal regulations, Kraft Heinz policies, and plant operating requirements
Own payroll administration processes for the plant, including issue resolution, accuracy follow-up, and process compliance
Monitor attendance trends and maintain discipline tracking to support timely, consistent leader action
Partner with supervisors to ensure attendance-related corrective action steps are completed accurately and on time
Serve as a primary employee resource for general HR questions, issue triage, and guidance on routine people-process matters
Identify recurring payroll, attendance, or employee-support issues and recommend process improvements
Build and maintain reporting and tracking tools that improve visibility, consistency, and follow-through across plant HR processes
Support plant leaders by reinforcing compliance with required people practices, policies, and documentation standards
Sanitation
Will ensure that the equipment and machinery they work with is cleaned and sanitized according to the Kraft Heinz Sanitation Program rules explained at the beginning of the employment and during refresher sessions.
Quality Assurance
Ensures all products manufactured align with the Quality Assurance Program and policies reviewed during the on the job training applicable to this specific operation function.
Safety
Will follow the Kraft Heinz Safety Process and will keep themself and others away from harm while performing their duties. Will adhere to LOTO policy and procedures.
Qualifications And Education Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in human resources or business-related field. Two years’ experience in HR field. 1 yr. SAP/LIS administration experience desired. Must have effective leadership, strong communication, solid customer service and proven abilities with skills such as initiative, planning and organizing, follow-up, interpersonal, and problem solving. Must possess ability to effectively establish relationships and trust within all levels of the organization.
