About the Role

As a Healthy Practice Adviser, you'll be a trusted partner to healthcare practices, providing guidance across the employee lifecycle. You'll work closely with practice owners and managers, offering advice on employment relations matters, people processes, recruitment, performance management, disciplinary matters, restructures, policies, and workplace best practice.

Responsibilities

  • Balance advisory work with building strong client relationships
  • Develop practical resources and templates
  • Contribute to the ongoing success and growth of the Healthy Practice service
  • Expand your expertise and presentation skills
  • Represent the organisation and deliver employment relations presentations to audiences across the health sector, including at organisational level and conferences

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in an HR Adviser, or in a similar role
  • Strong knowledge of New Zealand employment legislation and HR best practice
  • Practical experience supporting performance management, disciplinary processes, investigations and other employment relations matters
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • The ability to build trusted relationships with a wide range of stakeholders
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • A customer-focused approach and a genuine desire to help others succeed

Preferred Skills
