Operations and Control Manager
The Company
Our client is a global leader in payment processing technology, operating a massive digital network that powers secure financial transactions worldwide. Their value-added advisory division works directly with financial institutions, enterprise merchants, and industry partners on strategy, operational optimization, and growth.
The Role
As the Operations and Control Manager, you will serve as the central control point for regional commercial operations. This hands-on role takes full ownership of the end-to-end operational rhythm - from opportunity approval through contracting, delivery mobilization, billing, and revenue recognition - ensuring disciplined execution, accuracy, and audit-readiness.
Key Duties
- Contracting & Governance: Act as the central contact for regional contracting, developing, reviewing, and executing client contracts and SOWs.
- Commercial Enablement: Support advisory leads by coordinating operational workflows across internal systems to remove process bottlenecks.
- Revenue Operations: Drive monthly forecasting, ensure accurate revenue recognition, and proactively manage revenue-at-risk escalations.
- Business Controls: Execute core Line 1 risk controls across purchase orders, third-party workforce setup, and offshore cash billing.
- Process Excellence: Champion data governance across project systems and establish repeatable, automated operating practices to support delivery.
Skills & Experience Required
- Experience: 8+ years of commercial operations, Line 1 Risk, governance, or consulting operations experience across the full commercial lifecycle.
- Core Skills: Strong analytical mindset with proven expertise managing contract execution, revenue realization, and complex matrixed environments.
- Workflows: Deep capability in establishing disciplined operating routines, managing risk escalation, and maintaining audit-ready documentation.
- Approach: A self-directed operator who takes pride in the details, acts with high ownership, and resolves operational ambiguity with data.
- Preferred Background: Prior exposure to large-scale professional services, corporate banking, or high-governance commercial operations.
