We are looking for reliable and motivated Cleaning Assistants to join our team at Southern Cross North Harbour Hospital in Auckland. This is a casual position with no guaranteed hours. Shifts will be offered as and when required.

This job is ideal for someone who takes pride in maintaining clean, safe and hygienic environments while delivering excellent service to patients, visitors and staff. You'll play an important part in supporting a high-quality healthcare facility.

Ko o Kawenga / Your Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitise patient rooms, bathrooms, common areas and other hospital facilities
• Perform floor care duties including sweeping, mopping, buffing and polishing
• Respond promptly to urgent cleaning requests and spill clean-ups
• Safely handle waste and follow infection control procedures
• Replenish cleaning and bathroom supplies throughout the facility
• Follow all health, safety and company cleaning procedures

He Kōrero Mōu / About You

• Previous cleaning experience is preferred but not essential
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable, hardworking and physically fit
• Positive attitude with a willingness to learn
• Able to pass Police Vetting and pre-employment checks
