Addiction Pet Foods is looking for a proactive and results-driven

Territory Sales Representative to grow sales, develop new customers, and manage existing accounts across New Zealand.

This is a hands-on field sales role suited to someone who enjoys being on the road, building customer relationships, and turning market opportunities into sales growth.

What You’ll Do

• Manage and grow sales within the assigned territory.
• Conduct regular customer and store visits.
• Present and promote products, new launches, promotions, and sales programs.
• Develop new accounts and expand product distribution.
• Manage existing customers, follow up on orders, and maintain strong relationships.
• Identify new business opportunities and monitor competitor activity.
• Work closely with customers to improve product visibility and sales performance.
• Achieve assigned sales, distribution, and account-growth targets.
• Provide regular market and customer feedback to the Sales Director.

Must-Haves

• At least 2 years of field sales experience, ideally within FMCG, pet food, consumer goods, or a related industry.
• Proven experience in customer visits, product selling, business development, and account management.
• Strong relationship-building, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Commercially driven and comfortable working toward sales targets.
• Able to work independently and manage a territory effectively.
• Comfortable with regular travel and spending significant time in the field.
• Full and valid New Zealand driver licence – required.

Experience selling through retail, pet specialty, grocery, distribution, or similar channels will be an advantage.
