Ackama designs and builds web applications and websites for clients across a wide range of industries and does it because we genuinely believe technology can make the world a better place. We’re looking for a Project and Account Manager to lead the delivery of our client engagements and grow the relationships behind them.

About the role
You’ll lead engagements from kick-off to completion, keeping scope, schedule, and quality in balance while coaching your team to do their best work. At the same time, you’ll be the client’s trusted go-to, the person who understands their business, spots opportunities to add value, and helps the account grow over time.
Key responsibilities
- Driving projects towards delivering client outcomes
- Running agile project ceremonies, planning, monitoring and reporting
- Coaching your team and holding everyone accountable to do great work
- Managing risk, scope, and estimation with a level head
- Being the client’s primary contact and advocate
- Spotting and scoping opportunities for new or expanded work
- Keeping billing, invoicing, and reporting accurate and up-to-date
- Working with a talented team both remotely and in-person
About you
- Experience leading web or software delivery projects
- A genuine knack for building trust with clients
- Confidence facilitating and presenting to any audience, at any level
- Sound judgement on risk, scope, and estimates
- Curiosity about your client’s users, products, and goals, not just their deadlines
- Thorough understanding of systems, products and technologies
- Significant experience working with Government or the Energy and Utilities sector
