Marketing Data Analyst

About the Role

To improve SBS Bank marketing performance through the delivery of insights, analysis, and the provision of data for personalised experiences.

What you’ll be busy with

• Providing customer insights and analysis to inform marketing activity, campaign planning, and business decision-making.
• Analysing customer behaviour, profiles, lifecycle, profitability, and product portfolios to identify trends and opportunities.
• Supporting the design, testing, optimisation, and measurement of direct marketing, digital, social, and multi-channel customer engagement campaigns.
• Transforming customer data into clear insights, reports, dashboards, and visual stories that are easy for stakeholders to understand and act on.
• Working closely with Marketing, Product, Data & Insights, and other business teams to improve customer communications, engagement journeys, and campaign performance.
• Identifying opportunities to improve data quality, reporting processes, automation, and the overall effectiveness of marketing decisions.

What you’ll bring

• Strong analytical skills with an ability to analyse problems from both a business and technical viewpoint.
• Experience with Power BI, dimensional modelling/data mart development.
• Experience with database systems analysis, design, implementation, maintenance and support.
• Up to date with industry best practice and emerging trends in data analytics
• Ideally you'll have 5+ years of experience in data and analytics in the financial services sector or related industries.
• Preferably experience in Snowflake, DBT and SQL hosted on AWS with S3 ingestion pathways.

This role is full time, fixed term until the end of December 2027
