We're looking for a highly organised and proactive Project Administrator to support the delivery of two landmark renewable energy projects:
- Puna Komaru Solar Farm – one of Northland's largest solar developments.
- Wairua Power Station Upgrade – a once-in-a-generation hydroelectric refurbishment project that will secure renewable generation for decades to come.
- This is a hand on, site based opportunity to work alongside experienced engineers, project managers and renewable energy specialists while playing a critical role in keeping complex projects organised, connected and on track for success.
What You'll Be Doing
You'll be the administrative hub of our project teams, supporting project delivery through:
- Coordinating meetings, workshops and project activities.
- Preparing reports, presentations, meeting minutes and governance documentation.
- Helping maintain project systems, controls and reporting requirements.
- Maintaining project records, registers and document control systems.
- Supporting procurement, purchase orders, invoicing and contract administration.
- Assisting with project cost tracking and financial administration.
- Coordinating contractor onboarding, inductions and project mobilisations.
- Supporting stakeholder engagement activities, site visits and project events.
What You'll Bring
We're looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced project environment and enjoys bringing order to complexity.
You'll ideally have:
- Experience in project administration, coordination or executive support.
- Strong organisation and planning skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
- Experience using online procurement, invoice processing and financial systems.
- The ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- A collaborative approach and a willingness to support a high-performing team.
Bonus points if you have
- Experience supporting infrastructure, construction, engineering or energy projects.
- Experience with construction management platforms such as Procore (preferred but not essential).
- Experience with document control systems and project reporting.
- Exposure to contract administration and project cost management processes.
