Customer Specialist - Invercargill Advice Centre

At ASB, our customers are at the heart of everything we do. We're looking for two customer-focused and motivated individuals to join our Invercargill Advice Centre.

We Currently Have

• 1 x Permanent Full-Time Customer Specialist opportunity
• 1 x 15-Month Fixed-Term Customer Specialist opportunity (parental leave cover)

Te tūranga | The role

As a Customer Specialist, you'll be the first point of contact for many of our customers, helping them with a wide range of everyday banking needs while building strong and lasting relationships.

You'll

• Deliver exceptional customer experiences in every interaction
• Support customers with day-to-day banking enquiries and transactions
• Help customers confidently use ASB's digital and self-service tools
• Understand what's important to customers and connect them with the right solutions
• Work closely with a supportive and collaborative team
• Continue to learn and develop through ongoing coaching and training

We're Looking For People Who

• Love building relationships and helping others succeed
• Have experience in customer-facing roles such as retail, hospitality, tourism, contact centres, reception, education or similar environments
• Are confident communicators who can adapt their approach to different customers
• Enjoy problem-solving and finding the right solution
• Are comfortable learning new systems and technology
• Have strong attention to detail and can manage multiple priorities
• Bring a positive attitude and enjoy being part of a supportive team that likes to celebrate success and have a little fun along the way

Banking experience isn't essential. If you're passionate about helping people and delivering great service, we'll teach you the banking side.
