Automated Machinery Startup — Engineers Wanted

Construction is the world’s third largest industry, yet it is the industry that technology forgot.

Stansted is an early-stage robotics startup that is building a small, focused and highly capable team transitioning labour-intensive construction towards automated off-site manufacturing and on-site rapid assembly.

The first stage is a robotic manufacturing system that automates the production of timber framing for residential construction. The prototype has been developed, a patent has been filed and venture funding has been raised to build the first commercial system.

Stansted is looking for engineers to establish the mechanical, controls & software foundations of the company:

• Commercial experience in automated machinery or robotics.
• Confident in prototyping, design, assembly, and testing.
• Eager to learn, solve unfamiliar problems and adapt on the fly.
• Ability to work extended hours and weekends to support critical milestones.
