Contract Duration: Early September to early December (Chance of extension)

Location: Auckland (hybrid)

Start Date: 7th of December

Purpose of the Role

Our client is seeking a Marketing Automation Specialist to support a major partnership initiative focused on delivering digital-first customer experiences. The role will be responsible for engaging newly acquired customers through lifecycle journey communications, as well as cross-sell and upsell campaigns.

This is a hands-on execution role focused on deploying automated email communications using existing CRM frameworks. The position centres on workflow automation, testing, and deployment rather than content creation or campaign strategy.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain email automation workflows within the existing CRM framework.
• Configure queries, triggers, and lifecycle journeys for customer communications.
• Conduct testing and deployment of automated campaigns to ensure accuracy and timing.
• Make adjustments to existing templates (no content creation required).
• Collaborate with project and marketing stakeholders to ensure successful campaign execution.
• Ensure compliance with data privacy and unsubscribe regulations.

Technical Environment

• Preferred Platform: Acoustic
• Other Platforms: Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Adobe Campaign, Marketo, or similar CRM automation tools.

Skills & Experience

• 4+ years' experience in CRM marketing automation and lifecycle campaign execution.
• Proven ability to build, test, and deploy automated workflows.
• Strong understanding of trigger-based automations and customer segmentation.
• Experience managing multiple campaigns simultaneously.

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with the Acoustic platform.
• Exposure to cross-sell and upsell lifecycle marketing strategies.
