Senior Adviser, Monitoring and Reporting

• Lead monitoring and reporting of key funding arrangements.
• Hourly rate contract until the end of February 2027.
• Work with a variety of dynamic and passionate stakeholders.

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Advisor, Monitoring and Reporting. This role is key to the organisation’s understanding and communication of achievements through it’s work programme and the funding it provides to third party organisations.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and report on key funding performance.
• Report on work programme delivery.
• Contribute to the preparation of papers for the Board and other sub-groups.

Skills & Experience Required

We’re seeking a senior-level adviser with strong monitoring and reporting capability, and proven public sector financial management experience. The frameworks have already been developed, and this role focuses on monitoring and reporting the funds provided to external agencies.

What we are looking for is someone who has:

• Monitoring and reporting experience, including funding performance and financial data
• Public sector financial management and budgeting expertise.
• Contract and appropriation management experience.
• Confidence building relationships across governance groups and agency partners.
• Knowledge of government accountability and NGO environments.

Start date: As soon as possible

Length of contract: Until 26 February 2027
