We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Reach Operator to join their team based in Māngere.

About The Role

Shift: Monday to Friday, 6:00 am - 3:00 pm

Responsibilities

As a Reach Operator, you will play an important role in supporting the smooth and efficient operation of the distribution centre. Your responsibilities will include:

• Operating a reach forklift safely and efficiently to move and store stock
• Loading and unloading inbound and outbound freight
• Picking and replenishing stock from racking
• Accurately scanning and recording inward and outward goods
• Preparing customer orders for dispatch
• Assisting with general warehouse duties, including picking, packing and sorting
• Conducting daily pre-start checks on forklifts and warehouse equipment
• Reporting any equipment faults, damage or safety concerns promptly
• Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment
• Following all workplace health and safety procedures and company policies

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Previous experience operating a reach forklift in a busy warehouse or distribution environment
• A clean Ministry of Justice Report
• A current forklift licence and/or OSH certificate
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safe work practices
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team
• A strong work ethic and reliable attendance
• The ability to follow instructions and work independently when required
• Good physical fitness for warehouse duties and manual handling
• Reliable transport to and from work
• Previous experience in a distribution centre or logistics environment is advantageous
