About You
You are a confident advisor and communicator who brings together technical expertise, sound judgement, and a genuine commitment to building strong relationships. You can navigate complex issues, turn information into practical advice, and work effectively with whānau and a wide range of partners.
You Will Ideally Bring
- At least 3–5 years’ experience in environmental or resource management, communications, project delivery, or working with mana whenua.
- Experience assessing resource consent and concession applications.
- Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to turn complex information into clear, engaging content.
- Strong project management, organisational, and prioritisation skills.
- A sound understanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi, tikanga Māori, and the Ngāi Tahu settlement context.
- The ability to establish and maintain trusted relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- A relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent practical experience.
- A full New Zealand driver licence.
