Electrical Distribution Supervisor

We're looking for an experienced
Distribution Supervisor to lead field crews delivering electrical distribution and infrastructure projects across
Canterbury.
In this hands-on leadership role, you'll oversee the safe and efficient delivery of maintenance, construction, fault response, and project work while supporting a high-performing team of Linespeople, Cable Jointers, Technicians, and Electrical Fitters.
About The Role
Lead and supervise distribution field crews across multiple work sites
Ensure all work is completed safely, on time, and to a high standard
Coordinate daily operations, resources, contractors, and equipment
Support the delivery of maintenance, capital works, and network projects
Build strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members
Champion a strong health, safety, quality, and environmental culture
About You
Proven experience in electricity distribution, utilities, or power infrastructure
Strong leadership and people management skills
Sound knowledge of industry safety requirements and compliance standards
Experience coordinating field-based teams and contractors
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
Current NZ Electrical Registration Or Industry Qualifications Preferred
Full Class 1 Driver Licence
