Container Hoist Driver - Day Shift

About The Job

You’ll be an essential part of our yard operations, responsible for safely and efficiently moving empty shipping containers.

Your day will include

• Operating single and double stacker container hoists (up to 8 high, max 45,000kg)
• Moving containers around the yard
• Loading and unloading trucks
• Communicating clearly via RT
• Following all Health & Safety procedures

Hours for this shift: Day Shift, Monday - Friday 6.00am - 6.00pm

Other available shifts: Night Shift, Mon - Fri 5.30pm - 3.30am and 4-on, 4-off 6:00am to 6:00pm, on a rotating roster

What You Need

• Full NZ Class 1 licence (essential)
• Experience operating heavy vehicles or machinery (essential)
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and commitment to safety
• Flexibility to work across other sites when required
• RT communication skills

NOTE: Container hoists arenotstandard forklifts — this is a 50T machine, confidence with heavy machinery is essential for success in this role.
